April show cancelled...May Market is on!

Due to tough economic times, the IndieSacramento organizers feel they can better serve vendors, patrons, and sponsors alike by consolidating the first Saturday events into a biannual show. IndieSacramento will still boast a wide variety of awesome vendors and continue to challenge Sacramentans to shop local. We're sad to announce that the April event has been canceled, but we're excited to bring you an even bigger and better event this May. Please join us for IndieSacramento's May Market on Saturday, May 2nd from 10am to 3pm at Fremont Park in the Midtown/ Downtown Sacramento area.

The May Market boasts over 40 craft and fashion vendors, carrying a wide variety of affordable and fashionable handmade goods. Besides having the opportunity to support local small businesses and crafters, IndieSacramento is also giving patrons the opportunity to dabble in DIY themselves by offering IndieSacramento's first-ever Craft University. The Craft University tent will offer craft demos like yarn spinning. Patrons can also sign up for craft classes, where they can make a new craft for only a few dollars to cover supplies. Check out the IndieSacramento website in April for a full schedule of the classes and demos that will be offered.

We hope to see you there!
