Upcoming Craft shows in Sacramento

Thursdays just got better in Downtown Sacramento. The Downtown Sacramento Partnership is happy to announce “I HEART ART,” a new weekly crafters market.

Starting August 6, DSP will be hosting local artists and crafters in Cesar Chavez Plaza every Thursday for “I HEART ART.” From 10 am – 2 pm each week, visitors can purchase handmade items directly from the artists.

Quick Facts about “I HEART ART”:

* Thursdays in Cesar Chavez Plaza from Aug. 6th – Oct. 29th
* Hours: 10am – 2pm.
* Affordable vendor fees: $20 per day
* Free booth fees for August 6th and 13th

VENDORS WANTED FOR DESIGN DOWNTOWN
Creative Block Party Every Third Saturday

On the Third Saturday of every month the Sacramento News & Review will transform Downtown Sacramento into a bustling creative district with fashion, music and art at the forefront.

Our hope is that thousands of people of all ages will embark upon downtown to participate in this exciting event; street vendors, community art projects, trunk sales, a fashion bazaar, fashion shows, a beer garden and live entertainment on multiple stages will be just some of the sights and activities that people will take in.

We are looking to invite dozens of DIY/Indie vendors to participate in a district wide trunk sale/bazaar creating an exciting and unique shopping experience.

We are launching the event on July 18 and vendors can participate for a discounted fee of $30 for our opening month (fee includes insurance provided by SN&R).
