The Sacramento Art Community NEEDS Your Vote!

Have you heard about the Pepsi Refresh project? It's a site for entrepreneurs to propose an idea that they think will benefit their community - then people vote to give these entrepreneurs a chance at funding.

Today, I came across an idea that I know would benefit Sacramento in SO many ways. Please check out the info below and submit your vote!

* To promote the local arts.
* To teach children and the community the importance of the arts.
* Support the local economy by purchasing only local products.
* Teach keds art, donate to local art charities, and art supply drives.

Local Creations is a proposed art gallery and coffee house. It will allow local artists, sculptures, photographers, clothing designers, glass blowers, pottery workers, jewelry makers, etc. to display and sell their work to customers in a cool, relaxed, and inviting environment. Local Creations will also offer customers a wide variety of coffees, teas, brick oven pizzas, sandwiches, and baked goods. Local Creations will be located in Sacramento, California in the Midtown Art District. Local Creations will also strive to become a pillar in the local community by providing free art lessons to local children, art supply drives for local schools, and donate a portion of our proceeds to local charities. Local Creations will help the local economy by making every effort to purchase only local food, drinks, and artwork.
