Join j27 Gallery for these exciting January events

THE NEW YEAR'S EVE EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES. PLEASE CHECK OUT MANY OF THE OTHER EVENTS LISTED BELOW.

Live music in Sacramento has made legends and created a vitality that lives through the generations.  As a rock historian and award winning photographer, Jay Spooner’s lens has capture epic guitar leaps and riffs.  Each photograph transports the viewer back to the Distillery (when it had legendary shows by the Skirts, Snubnose and various other punk and cool rock bands), Old Ironsides, Concert in the Park and other haunts that generated the electric energy that music lovers crave.  Spooner’s amazing pics immortalize Mike Farrell (Sex66, Daisy Spot, Losin’ Streaks) and many other Sacramento’s favorite musicians.

In a tribute to Sacramento music scene and its innovative musicians, rockin’ acrobatics and down-right cool music lovers, Jay Spooner Photography exhibits at j27 Gallery.  To kick-off the exhibit, j27 Gallery will rock in the New Year with an artist’s reception Dec. 31st 8pm to midnight with live music and conversations with Jay Spooner and fans of the Sacramento music scene.  Show run is Dec. 31st to Jan. 30th.
