Needle Felt Your Dog?

Have you checked out Craftology yet? Craftology is one-part crafting/creativity lounge, one-part learning center and one-part social gathering spot. They host craft classes, craft classes for kids, and even a third Saturday Craft show.

This Sunday, Craftology will be hosting a special class to raise money for one of my personal favorite organizations, the SPCA. The class is called "Needle Felt Your Dog" but don't worry - no animals will be harmed in this process!

Susan Hixson will help you fashion your furry friend out of soft wool roving and a sharp barbed needle. Stretch your skills by making a large animal with legs. Bring a picture of the dog you want to make, or even some of their hair to attach to the wool. We’ll learn how to blend colors and get the fur just right!

$10 of each registration will be donated to the Sacramento SPCA.

A supply kit for the class that includes a felting pad, felting needles and wool roving is available at Craftology for $10.
