VOX Sacramento is hosting the 27th Annual Spring Very Special Arts Festival, organized by Patricia Wood from I Can Do That! Art for All Abilities, a nonprofit corporation providing high quality Arts education opportunities through teaching artist residencies to children of all abilities in Sacramento The ICDT Artistsin Schools program involves professional artists from the community who team with classroom teachers to accomplish children's educational and developmental goals at schools throughout Sacramento County. Participating groups consist of integrated special education and regular education students.

ICDT hires professional artists based on past experience in working with integrated groups of children and on participation in the Sacramento Arts community. Artists are encouraged to involve ethnic art forms, to expose children to both multicultural arts and arts reflecting Sacramento's heritage, and to facilitate crosscultural exchanges.

This festival will feature art from students at Luther Burbank High School, taught by Greg Polo, Ingrid Royal, Aaron McClatchy and peer tutored by Roy Hernandez, Joel Quidachay, Tou Bee Vang. UnChu Littlefield is the professional artist enlisted to help.

Please feel free to contact Patricia Wood at patriciawood@att.net or Vox at info@voxsac.com if you would like more information about this event.

Sincerely,
Vox Sacramento
