Best friends for Frosting Launch Party a Success Due to Local Talent

Last Thursday night was the Best friends for Frosting Re-launch Party at West Elm. The party was SO much fun. I especially love how all these different local businesses came together to help celebrate. The desserts by Sweet Cakes by Rebecca were beautiful (and tasted amazing). One of the co-founders of Silk Road Soda was there offering samples of their all natural sodas (if you haven’t already, you MUST try the cucumber mint). Popcycle Creamery was there with samples of her delicious ice cream flavors. I tried the mint chip ice cream and it was so much more flavorful and natural tasting than the store bought kind! Giggle and Riot funbooths was there with a confetti photo booth. Unseen Heroes were also on hand – they are the amazing event planners behind the GOOD Street Food + Design Market that I’m always talking about. To top it off, I finally got to meet several members of the BFFF blogging team, plus hang out with Melissa (BFFF’s founder).

P.S.) I highly recommend checking out some of the vendors (linked above), but if nothing else, you MUST read the post featuring Maritza and Roshaun of Unseen Heroes. I love what they are doing for Sacramento! Read the post here: http://bestfriendsforfrosting.com/2013/07/hanging-out-with-maritza-and-roshaun-davis-of-unseen-heroes/
