Mini Maker Faire at Vox this Second Saturday

VOX is transforming into a mini maker faire for July’s Second Saturday. This art exhibit will grow and develop as the public creates and shares original piece of art. Vox will host fun clay monsters by Rachel Young, yarn bombing and breakdancing with Rebel Th’redz, “Create with Clay” with LaLa Ortiz, Enamel, metal and wire working with Julie Geldmacher and painting with TJ Lev - each visitor is encourage to participate.

For this event, VOX will strive to ignite a desire that is in everyone by providing an experience centered around a common language we all speak - Creative Expression. Whether you are an accomplished "artist" or closet doodler- this event will inspire you to tap into your creative self and find ways to express yourself.

The public will be able to participate in individual projects and even collaborative projects - a "draw in"- adding to the work as 2nd Sat progresses. Participants will be able to make and take or make and share at VOX. There will also be a table of share space items where people can bring art supplies and share and swap as desired.

Participants will also be able to get their photo taken at the photo booth by FStop Imagery!

Vox, a 501(v)3 public benefit non-profit will be offering this free art event to promote the creative process in everyone. There is no cost for the event, and donations are always accepted!
